Overview
The automotive acoustic environment brings a very specific group of challenges in design and engineering to the high end audio industry. Near field listening coupled with limited vehicle space causes often produces low frequency resonances and large standing waves. All this coupled with the need to produce a transparent sound field with a wide range of listening positions requires speaker drivers with wide dispersion, high dynamic output, and smooth balanced sound. T Series is comprised of 3 coaxial drivers and 2 component systems giving a wide range of installation configurations. Each model shares the same core technology used in all T Series products; Carbon fiber / Polypropylene woofers combined with natural fiber dome tweeters. Component system tweeters have 3 mounting options for easy and flexible installation options according to each cars unique listening environment. Coaxial drivers offer point source sound in a compact structure without sacrificing acoustic coherence. The end result is a balanced high end car audio series with broad dispersion and impressive tonal accuracy. All speakers in the system offer smooth convergence of full and accurate sounding bass with clear and natural sounding highs.
Key Features
  • Tweeters are assembled using natural fiber dome diaphragms giving a broad and flat frequency response, high definition, and solid transient response. A high performance Nd-Fe magnetic assembly with high magnetic flux density is used. The entire system is cooled by ferro magnetic fluid greatly increasing power endurance.
  • Each T Series woofer cone is formed from a special composite of carbon fiber and polypropylene, surrounds are then directly bonded and formed from Sanoprene rubber. The end result is a woofer with high rigidity, consistent damping, and overall superior acoustic performance.
  • Crossovers are assembled using high quality coils, capacitor and resistors, the same components used for high-end speaker systems. Independent tweeter and woofer filters give a smooth transition at the optimum crossover frequency.
